How do I get my tickets?

All tickets need to be reserved in advance. To reserve tickets, you can use our online box office here. Your specific seats will be assigned by NYSAF staff when you check-in at will-call the day of the show, prior to the performance.

Is there a stand by/ waiting list?

Under current COVID guidelines, we will not be able to accommodate stand-by lists. Tickets must be reserved in advance. Walk-up tickets are not available.

What happens if I arrive late?

Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the Front of House staff.

Where do I park?

Parking at Marist College will be on site at the Boathouse. Please enter the campus through the main gates. Security and signage will direct you to the Boathouse. You can find directions here. There is no designated parking at Vassar College. You can find public lots and street parking throughout campus.

What is New York Stage and Film's exchange or refund Policy?

Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. We are very grateful for any donations made in connection with reservations; these donations will not be automatically refunded in the case of a rescheduled or canceled performance.

How should I prepair for theater outdoors?

All of our performances at Vassar College and at Marist College this summer will take place outdoors. We urge you to be smart about wearing attire that is appropriate for the heat. Performances at Marist College will be under a tent, but we encourage you to apply sunscreen and/or bug spray as you see fit prior to your arrival.

Are there restrooms onsite?

There will be a Restroom Trailer at the performance venue at Marist College, as well as an accessible bathroom stall. Restrooms at Vassar College will be located inside neighboring buildings, Sanders Classroom Building and The Vogelstein Center for Drama and Film.

Will there be consessions?

There is no food allowed at any of the performances. Audience members are permitted (and encouraged!) to bring their own bottles of water. There will be no concessions available at either outdoor venue.

What Accessibility options are available?

Assistive Listening Devices will be available for use for all performances at Marist College and Vassar College. Large-Print programs will be available at all performances. Accessible seating will be available at all performances. Please be sure to note your needs when reserving your tickets or by emailing boxoffice@newyorkstageandfilm.org. It should be noted that all of our seating is on grassy terrain.

Can I take videos or photos?

The taking of photos or videos is strictly prohibited and failure to comply may result in your removal from the performance.

What happens if it rains?

Performances are subject to rescheduling or cancellation at the discretion of NYSAF. MEXODUS at Vassar on Saturday, July 17th takes place in the open air and has a rain date scheduled for Sunday, July 18th at 3:00 PM. All performances at Marist College take place under a tent. How do I get there?

Directions: Marist: 3399 North Rd, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 Revel32: 32 Cannon St, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 Vassar College: 124 Raymond Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12604 BY CAR FROM NYC: Take the Taconic State Parkway north, and take exit 47B to NY-55 W/State Rte 55 W in LaGrange. BY TRAIN FROM NYC: Take the Metro-North Hudson Line from Grand Central Terminal to Poughkeepsie. The Marist College Boathouse is approximately a 25-minute walk from the train station. Taxis and rideshare services are also available.
