Are you ready to be in the room where it happens?
The New York Stage & Film Intern program supports the next generation of theater artists with an unparalleled opportunity to live, work, and train alongside top professionals. The Intern program is best suited for individuals who have a basic understanding of their department, and who are seeking a robust opportunity to further them on their respective trajectories. Applicants should attend colleges/universities that provide the opportunity to apply for summer financial support. These positions will not receive financial compensation from New York Stage & Film, and so, we are intentional about only accepting applicants whose academic institution can provide financial support. S&F encourages individuals with unconventional yet applicable experience to apply.
For 41 years, S&F has operated as a vital incubator for artists and their work, a catalyst for stories that start with us and continue across the country and around the world. With artist-driven flexibility, resources and opportunities are shaped to meet projects at every step of their development. Learn about our programming here | Organization History & Notable Projects.
Please reach out to your career center and/or department head to see what support may be available. We are happy to work with any accepted students to complete all necessary paperwork to ensure they receive the credit or funding and meet their degree requirements. If your school does not offer either of these opportunities, please apply for a paid staff position you think would be a good fit.
