CARLY MENSCH (Playwright) writes for theater and TV. Her plays have been produced at Ars Nova, 2nd Stage Theater, Westport Playhouse and the Humana Festival of New Plays. She co-created along with Liz Flahive the Emmy-award winning Netflix series GLOW, and the feminist anthology Roar for Apple TV. This is her first play in almost ten years.

LIZ FLAHIVE (Director) co-created ROAR (Apple TV+) as well as the Emmy-winning Netflix series GLOW with Carly Mensch. She was also an Executive Producer on NURSE JACKIE (Showtime) and a Consulting Producer on HOMELAND (Showtime). Currently in development on shows for Peacock, North Road, and Amazon. Feature: ADULT BEGINNERS (Neon). Her first play, FROM UP HERE (MTC), received the John Gassner Playwriting Award from the Outer Critics Circle in 2006 and was also nominated for an Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding New Off-Broadway Play and a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Play. Her plays have been produced and developed at Manhattan Theater Club, Williamstown Theater Festival, Naked Angels, Keen Company, Sundance Institute Playwrights Retreat at Ucross Foundation, and Ars Nova. Founding member: PlayGroup (Ars Nova). Recipient of MTC’s Bank of America New Play Commission. Liz is a proud, longtime volunteer with The 52nd Street Project. She is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts Department of Dramatic Writing.

SIENA YUSI (Stage Manager) is an NYC-based stage manager and theatre maker who specializes in the development of new works. Siena has had the pleasure of collaborating with theaters and companies such as Playwrights Horizons, The Bushwick Starr, Clubbed Thumb, The Play Company, Waterwell, Page 73, Vineyard Theatre, The Drama League, KGM Theatricals, Parallel Exit, Noor Theatre, The Hearth, and Detroit Public Theatre, among others. EDIE FALCO (Gertrude) became the first actress to win an Emmy® Award for Best Actress in both drama and comedy categories, receiving the award for her performance in NURSE JACKIE after previously winning for her portrayal of Carmela Soprano in THE SOPRANOS. She has been nominated for a record 22 SAG Awards and is among a select few to receive an Emmy, Golden Globe, and SAG Award in the same year for the same performance.

 

Falco recently wrapped shooting MAYOR OF KINGSTOWN opposite Jeremy Renner and was seen in a featured role in James Cameron’s blockbuster AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER. Additional recent film credits include her acclaimed work in the indies I’LL BE RIGHT THERE, OUTSIDE IN opposite Jay Duplass, and THE LAND OF STEADY HABITS opposite Ben Mendelsohn. She also starred opposite Brian Cox in the New Line/HBO Max feature THE PARENTING, which premiered this past March.

 

Her recent television work includes her acclaimed portrayal of Hillary Clinton in Ryan Murphy’s limited series IMPEACHMENT, an Emmy-nominated turn as Leslie Abramson in THE MENENDEZ MURDERS, and as Pete Davidson’s mother in the Lorne Michaels/Broadway Video-produced comedy BUPKIS.

On stage, Falco made her Broadway debut in the Tony® Award-winning play SIDE MAN, later starred in the acclaimed revival of FRANKIE AND JOHNNY IN THE CLAIR DE LUNE, and was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Actress for her performance opposite Ben Stiller in THE HOUSE OF BLUE LEAVES. She also received rave reviews for her recent Off-Broadway performances in The New Group’s THE TRUE and Manhattan Theatre Club’s MORNING SUN.

DARREN GOLDSTEIN (Claudius) can most recently be seen starring in ARMANDO IANNUCCI’S HBO series THE FRANCHISE, directed by SAM MENDES. Other recent credits include the second season of THE GILDED AGE on HBO, the FX series UNDER THE BANNER OF HEAVEN, and RYAN MURPHY’S AMERICAN CRIME STORY: IMPEACHMENT. Other television credits include OZARK, THE AFFAIR, INSIDE AMY SCHUMER, NURSE JACKIE, BLUE BLOODS, BULL, BLINDSPOT, DAMAGES, and AMERICAN ODYSSEY. On film, he has appeared in SHARPER, PATERNO, DETROIT, THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN, and LIMITLESS. A fixture of the New York theatre community, Darren has appeared on Broadway in LILLIAN HELLMAN’S THE LITTLE FOXES and BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON. His Off-Broadway credits include CONTINUITY and THE MADRID (MANHATTAN THEATRE CLUB); RASHEEDA SPEAKING, THE GOOD MOTHER, ABIGAIL’S PARTY (LORTEL NOM. FEATURED ACTOR), MOUTH TO MOUTH, and TERRORISM (all at THE NEW GROUP); OOHRAH! (ATLANTIC THEATER) and MARY ROSE (THE VINEYARD). He was most recently seen onstage in SARAH SILVERMAN’S THE BEDWETTER at ATLANTIC THEATER, for which he garnered a LORTEL AWARD nomination and also reprised the role at ARENA STAGE. He lives in New York.

JESSICA LOVE (Ophelia/ Frances) trained at the Juilliard School (Group 38), and then went on to appear on Broadway in productions including THE SNOW GEESE, and THE RIVER, and off Broadway in shows such as AUBERGINE (Playwrights Horizons) and QUEENS (LCT3) and in various regional productions such as THE MOORS (Yale Rep) and AS YOU LIKE IT (Hudson Valley Shakespeare Company). More recently Jessica has been writing and illustrating picture books, such as Julián is a Mermaid which is being adapted into a feature film by Cartoon Saloon and will premier at Cannes in 2026. Jessica lives in the Hudson Valley with her husband and son.

SUNITA MANI (Bernadette) is an actor and writer based in New York. Sunita will soon be seen in the Netflix limited series HIS & HERS opposite Tessa Thompson, Jon Bernthal, and Pablo Schreiber, as well as THE ROSES directed by Jay Roach, opposite Olivia Coleman, and Benedict Cumberbatch for Searchlight. Sunita co-starred in the A24 feature DEATH OF A UNICORN w/ Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega, A NICE INDIAN BOY opposite Jonathan Groff and Karan Soni and SPIRITED opposite Will Ferrell, Ryan Reynolds & Octavia Spencer for Apple TV+.  In television, she can also be seen in Apple TV + GOVERNMENT CHEESE with David Oyelowo, Hagai Levi’s HBO limited series SCENES FROM A MARRIAGE opposite Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain as well as M. Night Shyamalan’s Apple series, SERVANT, where she stars in a recurring role. Prior to this, Sunita starred as the lead in the Blumhouse feature EVIL EYE, the psychological horror feature, THE WILD and as the lead of the Sundance hit SAVE YOURSELVES where she received critical acclaim for her performance opposite John Reynolds.  Sunita rose to prominence for her breakout performance as “Arthie” on the Netflix series GLOW. She previously starred opposite Amy Sedaris on the CBS All-Access series NO ACTIVITY and recurred heavily on the hit USA series MR. ROBOT as “Trenton,” as well as fun guest star roles in comedy series such as SEARCH PARTY and THE GOOD PLACE.
