From our home base in New York City, we serve artists through the course of the full calendar year, and throughout the life cycle of their projects. Our NYC Reading Series at Barnard College features free public readings of work in progress during the school year. Our Winter Season offers workshops, readings, and residencies to several projects simultaneously, and presents them free to the general public.
New York Stage and Film has always operated with artist-focused flexibility, shaping our resources and opportunities to meet projects along their respective trajectories. As we presently confront an unprecedented global health crisis, NYSAF remains committed to effectively serving our community of storytellers.
Since we have determined in collaboration with our partners at Vassar College to postpone the summer Powerhouse Season until 2021, we have established the initiative: NYSAF NOW.
NYSAF NOW is our response to a continued need to connect and share -- a flexible set of resources and programs to serve the needs of theater and film artists today, to remain a community, and to support artists through these uncertain times. Learn More.
