New York Stage and Film is dedicated to safely bringing audiences and artists back together. Below are the measures we’re putting in place to ensure everyone’s safety this season. These guidelines pertain to all performances at Marist and Vassar Colleges which will be held outdoors.  Revel 32 have their own COVID safety procedures which can be found on their website.

In mid-May, the governor announced a significant easing of COVID-19 restrictions, however entertainment  venues must still maintain certain measures in keeping with guidance from New York State .

Throughout the summer, we will continue to evaluate our safety practices to reflect up-to-date guidance from New York State and re-evaluate  our policies accordingly. The below policies are subject to change.

General Guidelines:

  • Masks are required of all visitors and staff, regardless of their vaccination status, while on the property, including when outside.

  • Masks should fit tightly and meet CDC guidelines.

  • Capacities for all performances are limited to under 199 audience members per performance.

  • All seating will be distanced between audience parties.

  • All audience members must fill out contract tracing information before entry.

What you can expect when attending a Performance at the Marist and Vassar outdoor venues:

  • All tickets are General Admission to allow flexible ‘pod’ seating to maintain proper social distancing between audience parties. You will be assigned a specific pod location at will-call on the day of the performance. Seating will be distanced and separated by party. (You will have the ability to request specific accommodations for accessibility needs.)

  • Guests will answer a short COVID screening survey before entry into the venue

  • Guests will have their temperatures checked with a contactless thermometer upon arrival.

  • Guests will confirm that all members of their party have provided contact tracing information when they check in with will-call.

  • Even though we are outdoors, please keep at least six (6) feet of distance between yourself and people outside of your party.

  • Please practice regular hand hygiene during your visit. Hand sanitizing and/or disinfectant wipes stations are provided throughout the venue.

  • In order to control the flow of patrons, please plan to arrive early to the performance site to allow proper time to check-in and be seated.

  • No concessions will be available at the outdoor performance venues, audience members will be able to bring their own bottled water to the venue (no food is allowed inside the tent).

  • Our actors will be unmasked. For their safety under the tent, all audience members must remain masked. There will be a minimum of twelve (12) feet between performers and audience members at all times.

HEALTH:

If you are sick or do not feel well, please do not attend. Guests may not enter the property if any of the following apply:

  • You currently have a fever of 100.4 °F or greater.

  • You have had, in the past 48 hours, any symptoms of COVID-19.

  • You have had close contact with a person who has confirmed COVID-19.

  • You tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days.

  • In the last 14 days you have traveled from a country that meets the criteria for required quarantine upon arrival.

If any of the above apply to anyone in your party when you arrive, the entire party will not be able to attend the performance.
